Did you know that U.S. roadways accumulate over 51 billion pieces of litter each year.an average of 6,729 pieces per mile? This Earth Day, let’s make a difference right here at home.
Join us, as we come together to clean up East Greenwich in honor of Earth Day. Volunteers will meet at 10:00 AM at either Academy Field or Frenchtown School to receive bags, gloves, and route assignments if needed. After the clean-up, we’ll regroup at Academy Field at noon to celebrate our hard work and enjoy refreshments.
Come lend a hand, meet your neighbors, and help keep East Greenwich clean and beautiful, every piece of litter gathered makes a difference.
